Locum Interventional Radiologist Opportunity – Day Shifts + Q3 Call!

We're excited to present a  high-demand Interventional Radiology locum role  with a strong, well-structured IR team and predictable scheduling. Perfect for physicians seeking a stable weekday block with evenly distributed call.

Position Highlights

Specialty:  Interventional Radiology

Start Date:

As Soon as credentialed

Shift Type:  Day shifts, Monday–Friday

Shift

Hours:

7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Providers Needed:  1

Weekend Rotation:  Every 3rd weekend

Call:  Q3 call — every 3rd weekday  and  every 3rd weekend

Assignment Type:  Locum Tenens

Travel:  Mileage reimbursed at IRS rate; on-campus lodging available

Clinical Environment

Setting:  Hospital-based IR

Team Structure:  3 Interventional Radiologists + 2 APPs

Daily Volume:  ~8 IR cases/day

Trauma Level:  Level I

Patient Population:  Primarily adults, frequent geriatric

EMR:  Not specified

Required Procedures

Angioplasty

Stent Placement

Embolization

Needle Biopsies

Thrombolysis

UFE (Uterine Fibroid Embolization)

Additional:
Ortho, Gyn, Urology-related IR cases

Credentialing & Logistics

Estimated Credentialing:  90 days (fast-track available)

Reimbursement:  Mileage only; lodging available onsite

Submission Requirements

Board Certified Radiologist –  Required

Active  MI  state medical license –  Required

BLS & ACLS –  Required

Local providers only (mileage reimbursement only) –  Required

Clean malpractice & licensure history –  Highly Preferred
