Job Responsibilities:- Focus primarily on lung cancer patients while also addressing general and benign hematology cases.
- Participate in Tumor Board discussions.
- Order tests and imaging required for patient diagnosis.
- Prescribe appropriate treatments following consultations.
- Manage outpatient care, seeing an average of 8-16 patients per day.
- Provide telephone support during weekday evenings and weekend rounding as part of call rotation.
- Board Certified or truly Board Eligible in Medical Oncology.
- Active Michigan medical license (highly preferred, but will consider those needing to obtain licensure).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Willingness to specialize in thoracic cancer care.
- Must upload a self-query from NPDB, obtained within the month of application.
- Board certification in Medical Oncology is required.
- Active Michigan medical license is highly preferred.
