Facility: Medical facility offering a variety of services.
Opportunity:
- Seeking a full time Neuropsychologist (PhD) to join our Neuropsychology team located in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
- 90% outpatient and 10% inpatient
- Mon Fri (no holidays or weekends)
- No call!
- Team of four providers
- 8 neuro-cognitive testings per week
- Psychometrist to assist and business staff
- Completion of at least two years of clinical experience in an organized healthcare setting, supervised by a licensed psychologist, with one year post-doctorate
- Internship endorsed by the American Psychological Association
- Comprehensive adult and geriatric cognitive and psychological assessments to assist with accurate diagnosis and effective treatment planning
- Specific expertise in the assessment of:
Memory disturbance, Dementia, Traumatic brain injury, Sports-related concussion, Cognitive disturbance associated with epilepsy, multiple sclerosis (MS), Parkinson s disease, and other medical and neurological conditions - Pre-surgical assessments, including examination of patients being evaluated for deep brain stimulation, bariatric surgery, and epilepsy surgery
- Assessment of decision-making capacity
- 2+ years of work experience in a leadership role or has completed training specific skills to work in the position is highly preferred
