Were seeking a passionate and driven Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner to join our Medical Oncology - Lung Program team in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Opportunity Details
- Position Type: Full-Time (1.0 FTE)
- Clinic Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm
- Location: Grand Rapids, MI
- Specialty: Medical Oncology - Lung Program
- Team Size: 5 physicians, 5 APPs at Lacks Medical Oncology Practice
- Call Requirements: Outpatient call
- Additional details:
- Expansive Cancer Network serving much of the West Michigan region and Lake Michigan shoreline. Extensive Primary Care referral network and affiliation with University of Michigan.
- Lung cancer team led by physician, supported by APP, RN, Nurse Navigator, and MA.
- Program supported by social workers, dietitians, financial counselors, palliative care team, and administrative team.

Requirements
- Experience preferred
- APPs: Board certified in specialty prior to employment
- Active Michigan medical license (or ability to obtain)
- DEA license
- ACLS/BLS certification (must be maintained)
Duties & Responsibilities
A typical day may include:
- Providing direct patient care
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Participating in teaching and mentoring
- Documenting in Epic EMR
- Engaging in quality improvement initiatives
- Supporting community health efforts
