Were seeking a passionate and driven Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner to join our Medical Oncology - Lung Program team in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Opportunity Details

• Position Type: Full-Time (1.0 FTE)
• Clinic Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm
• Location: Grand Rapids, MI
• Specialty: Medical Oncology - Lung Program
• Team Size: 5 physicians, 5 APPs at Lacks Medical Oncology Practice
• Call Requirements: Outpatient call
• Additional details:
  • Expansive Cancer Network serving much of the West Michigan region and Lake Michigan shoreline. Extensive Primary Care referral network and affiliation with University of Michigan.
  • Lung cancer team led by physician, supported by APP, RN, Nurse Navigator, and MA.
    • Program supported by social workers, dietitians, financial counselors, palliative care team, and administrative team.

Requirements

• Experience preferred
• APPs: Board certified in specialty prior to employment
• Active Michigan medical license (or ability to obtain)
• DEA license
• ACLS/BLS certification (must be maintained)

Duties & Responsibilities

A typical day may include:

• Providing direct patient care
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
• Participating in teaching and mentoring
• Documenting in Epic EMR
• Engaging in quality improvement initiatives
• Supporting community health efforts
