Architectural CAD Technician​/Designer

As an Architectural CAD Technician / Designer you will be responsible for coordinating with senior staff on projects ranging from small scale addition renovations to large estates, mixed‑use buildings, and other commercial projects. The Architectural CAD Technician / Designer must coordinate and facilitate the completion of construction documents with a high degree of technical proficiency and creativity.

• Easily communicates and articulates through challenging technical and design issues, offering a knowledge of constructible solutions.
• Demonstrates a proficiency in assembling complex and technical construction documentation.
• Flexibility in partnering and learning from senior staff on a wide variety of tasks including, presentations, maintaining CAD references, site analyses, code review, etc.

• Professional degree in Architecture from an accredited school (Preferred but not necessary)
• 4+ years of experience with assembling construction documents.
• Exceptional knowledge of construction methods, particularly in Florida and Michigan
• Strong Communication Skills and ability to quickly adapt to the firm’s documentation methods.
• Proficient with ArchiCAD
• Candidates with a strong background in BIM systems like Revit, and a willingness to learn Archi
  
  CAD will be considered, but must demonstrate exceptional knowledge of Residential Construction and Documentation.
• Interest in other adjacent disciplines a plus
