A respected architecture & design firm in Grand Rapids is seeking a Senior Architectural Designer to take a lead role in complex commercial and institutional projects while mentoring younger designers and influencing overall design direction.

• Drive concept + design vision on high-visibility projects
• Work closely with leadership and clients
• Step into a visible, strategic design role

• Lead concept development and schematic design
• Guide design direction through documentation + delivery
• Collaborate directly with clients, consultants, and project teams
• Produce design presentations and visualizations
• Mentor junior and mid-level designers

• 10+ years architecture/design experience
• Proven background delivering commercial or institutional projects
• Strong design portfolio demonstrating innovation + problem-solving
• Advanced Revit and Sketch Up skills (other software a plus)
• Excellent client-facing communication

• Professional license or actively pursuing
• Experience with design-build or integrated project teams
• Portfolio including sustainable or innovative building solutions
