Gallagher Charter Lakes is looking for an Insurance Customer Service Representative to join their growing team. This is a full‑time hybrid position. The typical working hours are Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm EST. Do you have a passion for Customer Service and are looking to work alongside an award‑winning industry leader? What will you be doing?
- Provides customer service to a variety of customers over the telephone
- Interacts with insureds and explains coverages, updates account information and processes renewals and cancellations
- Responsible for servicing existing clients‑identifying and assessing customer needs to achieve satisfaction
- Receives and responds to customer service inquiries both written and verbal. Follows up on customer issues, researches problems and processes documents necessary to ensure a successful resolution. Provides accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools. Handles calls and correspondence that are predominantly routine but may require some deviation from standard procedures
Required:
- High school diploma and a minimum of 1 year of customer service experience
- Strong typing and basic computer skills
Preferred:
- Working knowledge of MS systems, i.e., MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Outlook and MS Word
- Active P/C license or willing to obtain one within the first 90 days of employment
Behaviors:
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Maintains a high level of professionalism with clients and establishes a positive rapport with every caller
