Customer Service Representative

Overview

Gallagher Charter Lakes is looking for an Insurance Customer Service Representative to join their growing team. This is a full-time hybrid position. The typical working hours are Monday through Friday from 8am to 5 pm EST. Do you have a passion for Customer Service and are looking to work alongside an award winning industry leader? What will you be doing?

• Provides customer service to a variety of customers over the telephone
• Interacts with insureds and explains coverages, updates account information and processes renewals and cancellations.
• Responsible for the servicing of existing clients—identifying and assessing customer needs to achieve satisfaction
• Receives and responds to customer service inquiries both written and verbal. Follows-up on customer issues, researches problems and processes documents necessary to ensure a successful resolution. Provides accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools. Handles calls and correspondence that are predominantly routine but may require some deviation from standard procedures.

Required:

• High school diploma and a minimum of 1 year of customer service experience
• Strong typing and basic computer skills

Preferred:

• Working knowledge of MS systems, i.e., MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Outlook and MS Word
• Active P/C license or willing to obtain one within the first 90 days of employment.

We offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
