Join Our Team as a Commercial Title Insurance Escrow Processor / Post Closing Specialist!
Are you detail-oriented, organized, and ready to kickstart your career in the real estate title insurance industry? Sun Title is looking for a dynamic individual to join our team as a Commercial Title Insurance Escrow Processor / Post Closing Specialist. While previous title, escrow, or disbursements experience is helpful, we are willing to train a candidate who has a strong and high attention to detail.
Responsibilities- Support Co-Workers and Clients: Work regular and extended hours as needed, maintaining professional interactions and reflecting Sun Title's core values.
- Communication: Disseminate information throughout the transaction process, coordinate with the accounting department, and manage deliveries and mail.
- Transaction Review: Review transaction documentation, enter details into the title industry system, and assess potential title issues.
- Document Preparation: Prepare closing documents such as deeds and power of attorney with meticulous attention to detail.
- Funds Management: Process payments, wire transfers, and earnest money deposits, ensuring accurate disbursement and verification of funds.
- Quality Assurance: Review closing documentation, confirm post-closing procedures, and maintain thorough records.
- Software Utilization: Use industry-specific software (Res Ware, Soft Pro Select) and Microsoft Office 365 for documentation and communication.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with co-workers, participate in project teams, and support department goals.
- Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills. Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Software Proficiency: Basic proficiency in industry software (Res Ware, Soft Pro Select) and Microsoft Office 365.
- Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED required;
Associate’s degree preferred. 2 years of related office experience preferred. Title, real estate, banking, or mortgage industry knowledge is a plus. - Certifications: Valid Notary Public commission within 1 month of hire and Title Producer’s License within 1 year of hire.
- Other Requirements: Valid driver’s license.
