AP Coordinator
Location: Grand Rapids, MI
Compensation: $40,000 –$50,000
Schedule: Monday–Friday, full time
Work Model: Hybrid (1-3 days in office)
The AP Coordinator will play a key role in managing day-to-day accounts payable operations while supporting a collaborative accounting team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys AP work, thrives in a process-driven environment, and values accuracy and organization. There will also be light exposure to accounts receivable through cross-training. Dress code is business casual (jeans are fine daily).
Key Responsibilities
Invoice Processing
Collect, organize, and manage incoming payables
Enter invoices into the ERP system with accuracy and attention to detail
Process approximately 400 invoices per month (100–150 weekly, with a slower pace at the beginning of the month)
Payments
Manage and issue vendor payments
Prepare and process weekly check runs
Maintain strict approval and payment protocols
AR Support
Flex between AP and AR as needed
Participate in cross-training to support the broader accounting function
Minimum Requirements
At least 1 year of AP experience
Strong attention to detail and a process-oriented mindset
Comfortable working in structured workflows and meeting deadlines
