** Job Summary
** The Accounting Manager will be a key member of the cross functional Amtech ERP implementation team and lead the ongoing accounting support post implementation. The position is responsible for developing and maintaining accounting principles, practices and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements. Works under general direction; exercised discretion and judgment on work priority on a regular basis; and requires a certain degree of creativity and autonomy to perform the job.

** Principle Duties and Responsibilities**- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure the ERP system meets business needs
- Lead the development and integration of accounting processes & procedures with core UFP processes & procedures
- Lead the development of the accounting support model for the ERP
- Oversee daily accounting operations for all locations on the Amtech ERP
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes
- Ensures proper accounting standards are followed
- Ensure internal controls are followed and financials are reported accurately
- Ensure compliance with accounting-related corporate initiatives
- Performs other duties as required
** Qualifications**- Minimum bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance- 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance role preferred- CPA or CMA certification preferred
- Experience and knowledge of UFP’s business systems and systems of internal control
- Advanced knowledge and understanding of accounting and finance practices
- Working knowledge and proficiency in the use of computer and business-related software, including Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, Outlook required)
** Essential Skills**- Excellent communication skills (written and oral)- Strong time management and organizational abilities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
- Ability to work hours mandated by management
- Ability to travel up to 50%###
