Controller
Location: Caledonia, MI
Pay: $80,000 – $95,000
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm
Work Environment: Fully onsite

Key Responsibilities Accounts Receivable
Reconcile accounts in Quick Books
Receive and process invoices and cash
Monitor and follow up on past-due receivables
Manage weekly check runs
Ensure bank accounts reconcile accurately
Monitor cash flow and maintain visibility into company cash position
Process biweekly payroll (hourly and salary)
Utilize ADP (semi-automated system)
Enter timeclock hours into portal
Input vacation time, overtime, and adjustments (ADP processes calculations)
Manage vacation requests
Coordinate with insurance providers and assist with benefits administration
Support general HR-related needs (shared support with leadership)
Minimum Requirements:
Experience working in a small business environment (not strictly large corporate setting)
Prior experience functioning as a one-person accounting department at some point in career
Comfortable handling the full accounting cycle independently
Positive, approachable attitude with ability to work across a diverse workforce
Preferred Qualifications :
CPA or graduate degree
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with 5–7 years of experience OR
Associate’s degree with 7–10 years of experience
