What You’ll Do- Participate in all phases of audit and assurance engagements for governmental and nonprofit clients
- Review prior year work papers and financial statements to prepare for engagements
- Perform audit procedures for moderately complex areas
- Address review notes promptly and thoroughly
- Draft concise, well-supported management letter comments
- Learn and assess client accounting systems and internal controls
- Evaluate control effectiveness within assigned audit areas
- Communicate progress and findings to supervisors and team members
- Manage workload effectively to meet deadlines
- Diverse assurance experience with municipalities, schools, and nonprofits
- Direct mentorship from experienced CPAs and audit managers
- Exposure to GAAP, Yellow Book, and Single Audit standards
- Professional development support, including CPA exam preparation resources

- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accounting (150 credit hours completed or in progress)
- GPA of 3.2 or higher preferred
- Intention to complete the CPA exam within two years of employment
- Strong problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Willingness to travel to client locations as needed
