The OpportunityThe Tax Accountant is responsible for the preparation of tax work papers, returns, estimate calculations, and tax-related correspondence. The role collaborates with the tax team to provide exceptional service and counsel to individuals, trusts, foundations, and entities that RDV Corporation serves.

- Partner with the tax team in the detailed and accurate preparation of tax returns, including federal and state income tax returns, calculation of estimated tax payments, and personal property tax returns.
- Partner with the tax team on research related to tax issues on reporting of income and deductions, maintain basis calculations on investments, and correspondence related to IRS and state notices.
- Work with other departments within RDV Corporation to obtain information required to complete tax work.
- Must have a bachelor’s degree in accounting.
- Experience in public accounting or equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to analyze general ledger and financial statement information and understand sophisticated tax issues.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and analytical abilities.
- Experience with tax return preparation software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent interpersonal, collaborative, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Uncompromised commitment to the highest level of confidentiality in all aspects of job responsibilities.
