Position OverviewAs a Pipefitter Lead
, you’ll be a hands-on leader, guiding a crew to deliver exceptional work in pipe fitting and related trades. Your expertise will set the standard for quality and efficiency, as you actively work alongside your team to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest standards.
- Lead & Mentor: Communicate instructions clearly, assign tasks, and work alongside your crew to set the pace and demonstrate proper techniques.
- Resource Management: Ensure plans, blueprints, materials, and tools are available and organized for efficient workflow.
- Problem-Solving: Address issues promptly by obtaining decisions from supervisors and providing guidance to team members.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor work progress and verify compliance with specifications, deadlines, and safety standards.
- Safety Leadership: Enforce safety and housekeeping rules at all times.
- Reporting: Provide updates to superintendents and project managers on progress, delays, and operational challenges.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of verifiable pipe fitting experience.
- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of piping blueprints, specifications, codes, and plumbing systems.
