Full-Time Retail Sales Associate to join our Team!

$10.00 to $14.00 per hour

We offer an easily achievable commission structure that pays you for every transaction you process! Our retail sales associates can earn up to 8% on transactions, which could average an additional $5.65 per hour on top of your hourly rate.

We are seeking entry-level, full-time sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the entire staff to ensure customer service on both lending and retail sides. The associate greets, engages, and interacts with customers to process sales, loans, and other transactions, aiming to provide a positive and professional experience. The role involves working with a wide variety of jewelry and general merchandise, including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations) and more.

The position offers an hourly wage plus commission based on productivity. Final pay depends on location, qualifications, and experience.

• Greet and interact with customers to develop rapport and offer appropriate financial solutions.
• Perform non-management open/close procedures.
• Keep the sales floor clean, stocked, and merchandise displayed.
• Process sales and loan transactions in accordance with policies and regulatory requirements.
• Handle cash and negotiable items per policies.
• Answer incoming calls per company standards.
• Explain the legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and managers and contribute to a positive customer experience.
• Complete required training and take on other duties as assigned.

• Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to perform duties for extended periods (standing, walking, bending, etc.) as required by law.
• Ability to work with firearms and to become firearms certified.
• Ability to assist customers in exterior areas or retrieve products stored in exterior locations as needed.
• Minimum Age: 18 years old
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
• Strong desire to work, serve customers, and be team-oriented.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and perform basic math.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Ability to work at multiple locations as needed.
• Flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Computer literate; able to operate POS systems.

The employee commission incentive plan is proprietary to First Cash. Associates have the potential to earn 2–8% commission based on personal gross profit. More details are provided during the interview process.
