Summary
A Beverage Manager oversees the beverage operations, oversees Service Specialists, ensuring quality service, managing inventory, and developing innovative beverage programs.
Responsibilities- Proactively anticipate guest needs and deliver seamless, intuitive service.
- Follow up with guests to ensure satisfaction and create memorable service moments.
- Work collaboratively with fellow team members and leadership to uphold a consistent service experience.
- Comply with all food, beverage, and alcohol service standards and safety guidelines.
- Represent the Palace Poker brand at all times through consistent tone, appearance, and behavior.
- Manage Daily Operations:
Oversee the day-to-day beverage operations, ensuring smooth service and adherence to quality standards. - Inventory Management:
Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring an adequate supply of beverages while minimizing waste. - Staff Management:
Hire, train, and supervise beverage staff, including bartenders and servers, to maintain high service standards. - Menu Development:
Create and update beverage menus, experimenting with new drink recipes and trends to attract customers. - Vendor Relations:
Build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and vendors to negotiate pricing and ensure quality products. - Customer Interaction:
Engage with customers to gather feedback, resolve complaints, and enhance the overall guest experience. - Compliance:
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining cleanliness and organization in beverage service areas. - Sales Analysis:
Analyze sales data to identify trends and make informed decisions about future purchases and promotions.
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must have open availability for work schedule
- Strong interpersonal skills and verbal fluency
- POS system familiarity and basic math competency
- English fluency required; additional languages are a plus
- Education:
A degree in hospitality management, business management, or a related field is often preferred. - Experience:
Proven experience in the hospitality industry, particularly in beverage management or related roles. - Skills:
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment; knowledge of beverage trends and customer preferences.
- Current TABC Certification and all legally required food and beverage service credentials
- Extended standing and walking throughout shift
- Occasional lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
- Exposure to ambient noise, kitchen environments, and cleaning products
- Sustained energy, posture, and attentiveness in a dynamic, fast-paced setting
