You will be the Manufacturing Engineer Sr. (PWB Manufacturing, Level
3) for the Missiles & Fire Control Manufacturing Engineering - Dallas Electrical Shop PWB team. Our team is responsible for delivering high-quality printed wiring boards (PWB) that enable mission-critical missile systems. What You Will Be Doing As the Manufacturing Engineer Sr. (PWB Manufacturing, Level
3) you will be responsible for advancing manufacturing processes, work instructions, and risk-mitigation strategies for PWB manufacturing. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
* Analyze and maintain chemical compositions of PWB manufacturing solutions and baths within acceptable operating limits.
* Develop, create, and maintain work instructions, task lists, and re-work/repair guides for non-conformance processing.
* Identify production risks, devise mitigation plans, and lead validation activities for new manufacturing lines.
* Drive cost-reduction initiatives from concept through closure while ensuring schedule, quality, and safety targets are met.
* Champion continuous-improvement and lean practices to reduce waste, enhance affordability, and improve overall efficiency. Further Information About This Opportunity This position is in Dallas. Discover more about our Dallas, Texas location. MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience maintaining Chemical dependent Manufacturing processes.
- 5+ years of related PWB / PCB Manufacturing or Process control experience.
- Experience manufacturing PWB / PCB assemblies to IPC and J-STD specifications.
- Experience with electrolytic plating processes.

- Ability to work independently and as a group with little guidance.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment.
- Ability to interpret drawings, Computer-Aided Design (CAD) models, product/performance specifications, and other systems integration technical data
- Ability to liaison between LM Subcontractors, internal disciplines, and LM shop(s) Production Operations
- Demonstrated effective communication skills including verbal, listening, technical writing, and presentations
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills, including team building, collaboration, and developing enduring business relationships
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve technical/process issues varying from basic to very complex
- Proficient in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Experience with True Chem software.

This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time:
The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
