Display positive attitude and team work skills. Must complete a pre-employment physical and drug test. Must be able to stand and walk up to 8 hours per day. Ability to frequently bend, lift and twist. Must be able and available to work overtime as required.
Job SummaryESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Overseeing shipping process/documentation, organizing department areas & assigning duties as deemed necessary, assistsupervisor in planning.
Ensure that the loading/unloading of all trucks is completed in an accurate, safe, and timely manner.
Document loading sheets and pass off to clerk for data entry.
Organize Dept Team to appropriate areas.
Accurately maintain and enter Cooler/Freezer inventory in SAP.
Monitor the lift/jack operators are operating safely and efficiently.
Check in/out PIT paperwork.
Report via email any equipment damage/incidents to supervisor immediately.
Knowledgeable of and in compliance with all GML/HACCP/SSOP/USDA Regulations.
Ensure all freezers/coolers are maintained, organized, and clean as necessary.
SAP paperwork for all shipping/receiving loads, plus all inventories/LX03, etc.
Must be computer literate
Data entry in SAP
Answer phones and respond with correct and accurate information
Discuss delivery or pick-up schedules with drivers
Turn all paperwork in at end of shift to upstairs Acct
Freezer/cooler inventory assistance with 100% accuracy
Knowledgeable with BOL’s from Ameri Cold requirements and documentation completion.
SAP inventories of freezer/cooler to be 100% accurate.
Communicating with management when there are concerns with the following:
Production Safety Employee Relations
Performs other related duties as assigned to support production demands as may be specified by customer or client
Supervisory Responsibility:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities .
High school diploma or equivalent .
Experience1 year work related experience .
Other RequirementsNo other requirements .
Working ConditionsHigh noise, cold temperature, slippery floors, moving equipment and dust may be present. Employees will wear personal protective equipment as necessary or required.
