• Assist supervisor in meeting production requirements by identifying limiting factors that inhibit production and recommending measures to improve production methods.
• Coordinates activities of area employees to maintain production levels ensuring timely set- ups, changeovers, etc.
• Troubleshoots emerging production oriented problems as they arise within the area and communicates issues to supervisors, engineering, maintenance, and quality.
• Enforces all company safety rules. Ensures conformance to quality and safety standards.
• Responsible for shift reporting and other documentation applicable to assigned area (PCV, production report, SPC chart, etc.).
• Fills in for employees when necessary and appropriate.
• Trains and instructs employees as necessary ensuring standardized work.
• Supports and upholds management decisions.
• Troubleshoots emerging production oriented problems as they arise on the floor.
• Maintains safe, clean and orderly work area.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2-5 years of manufacturing experience on the production floor.
• Possess computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• May require travel for Company training.
