• Assign, manage and direct the daily manufacturing activities of up to 25 union-covered employees within the assigned area to attain economy of operations, maximize throughput, and insure profitable production of parts.
• Provide daily assignment and direction to direct reports.
• Conduct disciplines of employees when necessary.
• Manage in accordance with the local production union Collective Bargaining Agreement.
• Metrics driven accountability for performance: TAKT, earned hours, efficiency, schedule, overhead, and overtime charges.
• Achieve objectives in a matrix work environment and work effectively with multiple functions (such as Supply Chain, Process Engineering, Continuous Improvement, Quality, etc.).

• Effective interpersonal, leadership, communication, and organization skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Being goal-oriented and data driven with a strong sense of urgency.

• Seeking an individual who can be an empowering team leader.
• A B.S. in Engineering, supply chain management, business management, leadership, or equivalent experience; in lieu of degree, 5 years experience in related field.
• Manufacturing experience or military experience.
• CNC Machining experience.

• You’ll be off every other Friday with our 9/80 work schedule.
