Description:

You will be the Subcontract Management Senior for the Tactical Missiles line of business. Our team is responsible for supporting the M270 Launchers Programs, driving growth and innovation in the industry.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Subcontract Management Senior you will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of subcontracts, ensuring supplier performance, and leading cross‑functional teams to achieve program goals.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

* Managing supplier cost, schedule, quality, and technical performance.

* Leading multifunctional subcontract management teams, including procurement, engineering, and business management.

* Analyzing and evaluating supplier proposals, and developing pre‑negotiation strategies.

* Coordinating with program and functional management teams to align contractual delivery schedules with program demands.

* Identifying and mitigating risks to program financial plans.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications:

* Experience with procurement and subcontract management of specialized materials, complex assemblies, and equipment within the Defense Industry

* Business acumen and ability to make business based decisions

* Demonstrated communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation)

* Ability to problem solve

* Able to travel (~20%)

* Knowledge of FAR/DFAR acquisition policies and procedures

* Ability to obtain US Secret Security Clearance

* Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) or Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR)

* Excellent organization skills

* Strong communication (written, verbal and presentation) skills

* Ability to engage supplier senior executives as necessary to resolve issues

Security Clearance Statement:

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework:
The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
