Position Purpose

Plan, coordinate, and oversee maintenance and facility operations within the PGL organization, ensuring that all building systems, material handling equipment (MHE), and infrastructure remain safe, functional, and compliant. Manage relationships with external vendors and contractors responsible for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing, and building repairs, as well as fleet and dock maintenance.

Tasks
  • Coordinate, schedule, and oversee facility repair and maintenance activities, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and roofing.
  • Manage vendor relationships and ensure timely completion of work orders in alignment with company standards and budget.
  • Supervise maintenance and repair of box trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other MHE.
  • Partner with general contractors for building-related projects, including racking, walls, and other structural repairs.
  • Coordinate dock door and dock plate inspections, maintenance, and repairs to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Maintain records of service schedules, inspections, and completed repairs.
  • Oversee preventive maintenance programs for facility systems and equipment.
  • Conduct facility walkthroughs to identify potential safety hazards or maintenance needs.
  • Support compliance with OSHA, environmental, and safety standards.
  • Track and report maintenance metrics, costs, and contractor performance.

Qualifications
  • Years of

    Experience:

    3–5 years in facility maintenance, building management, or industrial equipment maintenance preferred.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or industry certification (HVAC, Electrical, OSHA, or Facilities Management) preferred.
Knowledge

Facility Maintenance Management — Knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, roofing) and maintenance best practices.
