Night Shift Sweeping Crew -Grand Prairie, TX

Position Summary

Roy Jorgensen Associates, Inc. (Jorgensen) is seeking full-time Sweeping Crew members to perform advanced maintenance operations during the night shift in the Dallas‑Fort Worth, TX area. This position is based in Grand Prairie, TX and involves roadway sweeping and debris removal, with occasional tasks related to snow and ice control and incident response.

• Perform roadway sweeping and debris removal during the night shift.
• Operate equipment such as wheel loaders, skid steers, powered sweeping equipment.
• Assist with snow and ice control and incident response when required.
• Follow all applicable federal, state, and local regulations and Jorgensen Company policies.

• Ability to work at varied heights.
• Experience using shovels, brooms, and other hand tools.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Traffic Control (MOT) certifications/courses.

• Minimum 2 years of related experience.
• Experience operating wheel loaders, skid steers, and powered sweeping equipment.
• CDL license.
• Bilingual:
  English/Spanish (read/write)
• Clean driving record.
• Must pass criminal background check.

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Comprehensive background checks (criminal record, driving record, controlled substance testing).
• Knowledge of local driving rules and regulations.
• Basic arithmetic skills.
• Maintain proper safety equipment.
• Adapt to the latest technology and use smartphone applications.
• Adjust to changing work schedule and varying environmental conditions.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and operate hand/power tools.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment (greasing, cleaning).
• Follow directions from supervisors.

Full‑time:
Sunday–Thursday, 7:00 PM – 5:30 AM, with occasional day and weekend work. Must be flexible for rotating schedules and weather events such as snow, ice, and floods.
