Maintenance Technician - Mechatronic - 2nd Shift
We are looking for a Production Maintenance Technician (2nd shift). Hours are 4pm – 12:30am, based at 2902 Mayfield Rd., Grand Prairie, TX. The qualified candidate must be willing to work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and be prepared for short‑notice assignments.

Responsibilities- Safety & Hazard Recognition: adhere to all company safety policies, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, and ensure work is compliant with regulatory standards. Report and follow up on safety items through completion – See Something – Say Something – Safety Owner.
- Strong Customer Service, Communication, and Interpersonal skills: deliver information at all levels to ensure customer satisfaction. Proactive communicator to identify and address threats to production goals and focus on teamwork.
- Troubleshooting and Repair: diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, including motors, pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, and PLC‑controlled equipment with attention to detail. Find root cause to prevent repeat failures.
- Mechanical aptitude: operate hand and power tools and select the correct tools for the job. Evaluate and operate rigging equipment (cranes, hoists, engine lifters) safely and size below‑the‑hook devices appropriately.
- Electrical Systems: use digital multimeters, megohmmeters, amp clamps, TC probes, and thermal imaging cameras to diagnose electrical circuits safely. Test and repair single‑phase and three‑phase circuits, controls, and components, including VFDs, laser marking cells, robotic test cells, sensors, and instrumentation.
- Documentation: maintain accurate records of all maintenance work performed, parts used, and equipment history in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or technical certification in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Technology, or related field preferred.
- 1+ years of hands‑on experience in an industrial or manufacturing maintenance environment.
- Basic proficiency in electrical troubleshooting (up to 480 V three‑phase).
- Fundamental understanding of mechanical systems (hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyor systems, rigging). Welding or millwright experience is a bonus.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic schematics and blueprints.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work, including climbing stairs and ladders.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.
- Working knowledge of PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers). Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot inputs/outputs is a must; programming experience is a plus.
