Job Description

You will be the Procurement Analyst for the HIMARS Global Supply Chain team. Our team drives end‑to‑end material acquisition for the High Mobility Artillery Rocket System, ensuring the right parts arrive at the right time to keep our rockets flying.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Procurement Analyst you will be the primary conduit between Lockheed Martin and our supplier base. You’ll own the full procurement cycle, from need identification through order fulfillment, while keeping senior leaders informed of performance, risk, and opportunities. You’ll work side‑by‑side with program execution, engineering, and logistics to keep HIMARS on schedule.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Acting as the main liaison with suppliers, communicating requirements, addressing concerns, and expediting deliveries.
  • Managing purchase requisitions, work orders, and contract actions from creation to close out.
  • Tracking engineering revisions, material forecasts, and inventory levels to prevent gaps.
  • Reporting key supply chain metrics, risk assessments, and strategic improvement ideas to senior stakeholders.
  • Monitoring supplier performance, conducting corrective action follow up, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinating with logistics, quality, and program teams to resolve delivery and compliance issues.
  • Supporting travel and on‑site visits when needed to strengthen supplier relationships.
  • Maintaining accurate records in enterprise systems and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
