Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work onsite with our client in Grand Prairie, TX
. Interested?

Here s what you d do:

• Install and configure network devices (i.e., network printers, scanners, plotters, PCs, etc.).
• Troubleshoot problems with network printing and scanning devices. Perform data termination/ activation in telecommunication closets, also known as network connections (activation of data drops).
• Repair and replace data connectors on network cables and data drops.
• Assist in the relocation of customer employees to the facility (move PCs and activate data drops in the new location).
• Troubleshoot network issues with PCs and LAN (duplex mismatches, duplicate IPs, corrupt firewall software, proxy configuration issues, etc.)
• Assist with imaging of laptops and PCs for deployment.

Linux experience is a plus!

Pay: $22/hr.

Hours: 4x10 Monday-Thursday.

Length: Contract (12m+ with opportunity of extension).

Required Skills /

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience with basic technical hardware repair.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience with setting up and configuring PCs.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience with desktop support.

Preferred Skills /

Qualifications:

• Able to work in a team environment as well as independently
• Linux experience

Additional Information:

• Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
• In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be needed to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the necessary employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
• Possible lifting may be needed up to 50 lbs.
• Successful candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance.
