Full Time position with Benefits with an end date of 09/30/2026
Responsibilities- Conduct research, gather data, and prepare detailed narrative and statistical analyses to support HR decision-making; translate findings into clear summaries, visualizations, and recommendations for HR leadership and City departments.
- Support audit preparation by gathering, validating, and organizing HR data for internal and external auditors; explain data sources, coding structures, and the methodology used to produce required information.
- Develop spreadsheets, tracking tools, dashboards, and data visualizations to summarize HR metrics; update these materials regularly for HR leadership, City management, and departmental stakeholders.
- Monitor compliance data such as license/certification expiration dates, probationary periods, evaluation due dates, and training requirements; compile reminders and reports to ensure organizational compliance.
- Maintain and update employee, position, and pay data within the HRIS; verify entries for accuracy, ensure alignment with approved position control, process changes, and assist with reporting, troubleshooting, and system testing.
- Assist in researching and assembling information for classification and compensation purposes and other personnel studies.
- Respond to compensation, benefits, and classification surveys from peer cities, consultants, and internal stakeholders; compile accurate data in accordance with survey requirements and internal HR guidelines.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) across HR functional areas, such as recruitment pipeline efficiency, training participation rates, leave duration averages, or benefits enrollment trends; prepare periodic KPI dashboards for leadership review.
- Support new hire onboarding processes, ensuring personnel forms are complete, accurate, and compliant; prepare and enter personnel action changes into the HRIS.
- All other duties as assigned by a supervisor/manager within your department/division.
Any combination equivalent to experience and training that would provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities may qualify. A typical way to obtain the knowledge, skills and abilities would be:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Public Administration, or a related field. Equivalent experience may substitute for education.
- Experience: Over one year up to and including two years.
- Licenses: Valid Driver's License required.

Project Details- Project Duration: The position is funded only through the project’s completion date of September 30, 2026.
- End of Project Employment: After the conclusion of the project, employment with the city will cease unless the individual applies for and is selected for a different, funded, and budgeted city position.
- No Guaranteed Transition: There will not be a specific position created for any project employee to continue their employment after the project ends.
