It is the responsibility of the staff respiratory therapist to demonstrate proficiency in all modalities of respiratory care and related multidisciplinary skills. The Respiratory Therapist will execute assignments in compliance with hospital policies and may work with respiratory students in a clinical setting.
Qualifications- Graduate from an accredited respiratory care program recognized by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
- One‑year experience in respiratory care preferred.
- Must be credentialed as a CRT by the NBRC upon hire.
- Licensed by the Texas Medical Board as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
- Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) provider.
