Grand Prairie. Location details and shifts: 11:30am-8pm EST and 1:30pm-10pm EST. Hybrid 1: associates are in-office 1 - 2 days per week, with flexibility for productivity and work-life balance.

• Maintain established procedures concerning quality assurance.
• Receive and review prescriptions to ensure accuracy and determine formulas and ingredients needed.
• Ensure compliance with laws governing practice and distribution of drugs.
• Answer questions for customers on drug interactions, side effects, dosage, and storage.
• Consult with prescribers regarding interpretation of prescription information as needed.
• Ensure stock and supplies are ordered, stored, and handled in the absence of the Lead Pharmacist or manager as needed.
• Prepare, fill, and compound drugs and orders by prescribers and other authorized personnel.
• Offer counseling to customers on how to use devices such as blood pressure or diabetes monitors.
• Improve efficiency and reduce costs in the pharmacy area.
• Plan, implement, and maintain procedures for mixing, packaging, and labeling pharmaceuticals, ensuring quality and proper disposal.

• BA/BS in Pharmacy or Pharm
  
  D and minimum 1 year of experience as a Pharmacist, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid Registered Pharmacist license required.

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Pharmacist in retail or clinical settings (preferred).
• Specialty pharmacy experience preferred.
• Experience with pharmacy adjudication platforms strongly preferred.
• Experience working a phone queue preferred.
• Bilingual preferred.

For Carelon Health, NABP verification is required for this position, as per state guidelines. Salary range for this position in Columbus, Ohio is $114,800 to $172,200, with benefits as described below.
