Position Purpose
Ensure customer accounts are properly maintained and monitored in accordance with company procedures and policies.
Leadership SummaryThis position has no supervisory responsibilities.
OperationsEssential Job Results:
- Reviews of customer invoices and monthly statements are processed accurately.
- Assists and applies customer payments via credit card.
- Contacts customers to resolve payment discrepancies.
- Reviews aging report to identify accounts that are at risk for delayed or non-payment.
- Communicates accounts that are questionable to manager.
- Answer incoming calls from internal and external customers for all accounts receivable related inquiries including payments.
- Maintain accounts receivable customer related files and records.
- Assists manager to identify credit worthiness and extension of credit of accounts.
- Assists with gathering support for all audits, including extracting related documentation.
- Carries out any other related functions assigned by the manager.
- Assists the Cash Application Specialist as and when required.
- Ensures adherence to all Accounts Receivable policies and procedures.
- Performs special projects, audits and analytics at the branch level, provides and presents recommendations via written reporting.

Education and/or
Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
At least five years of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:

- Strong computer skills; including proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measures, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, rate, ratio, and percentage.
- Ability to consistently follow company standard operating procedures.
- Ability to do repetitive work and work under tight deadline pressures.
- Ability to maintain organized work processes, materials, and files.
- Ability to self-start and maintain a high degree of attention to detail.
- Ability to recognize priorities and organize workload accordingly.
