** is seeking a high-impact
** Lakota Fleet Configuration Manager
** to take command of configuration control and obsolescence management for a fleet of over 480+ aircraft.
* Liaison on a weekly basis with Engineering, Procurement, Program Management, and Work Preparation teams to determine applicability and cut-in of Engineering Change Requests (ECR) / Engineering Change Proposals (ECP) to Lakota aircraft in production.
* Communicate program concerns to key stakeholders regarding the impact of proposed ECRs/ECPs.
* Chair monthly Joint Change Boards with Airbus internal stakeholders (Logistics, Technical Support, Program Management, Work Prep, Production Configuration, Engineering) and ensure notification of all affected parties.
* Communicate fleet impacts to Lakota Program functional groups (Logistics, Training, Technical Support, Program Management, Maintenance, etc.) resulting from configuration changes.
* Gather required data and draft Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) documentation for configuration changes submitted to the Government.
* Ensure Government approval is obtained prior to aircraft delivery.
* Ensure all delivery documentation is maintained in a historical database.
* Ensure CM deliverables meet contractual, legal, quality, and production requirements.
* Maintain an effective configuration control process and collaborative relationships with internal teams, partners, vendors, and customer representatives.
* Execute a proactive obsolescence monitoring and management program to ensure continued supportability of the Lakota fleet.
* Ensure obsolescence management activities are executed in accordance with contractual requirements and coordinated with Government stakeholders as required.
* Monitor supplier, vendor, and industry obsolescence risks affecting Mission Equipment Packages (MEPs), systems, and aircraft components.
* Integrate obsolescence monitoring activities across procurement, configuration management, quality, engineering, and program management teams.
* Identify, assess, document, and communicate fleet-wide obsolescence risks and impacts.
* Coordinate mitigation strategies for obsolescence issues, including but not limited to:
+ Last Buy Options (LBO)  + Alternate sourcing  + Service life extension  + Parts redesign or substitution
* Coordinate engineering efforts to resolve obsolescence airworthiness coverage via Engineering Support Modification (ESM) or Obsolescence & Airworthiness (O&A) processes, as applicable.
* Work jointly with the Government Fleet Configuration Manager to:  + Maintain standard airframe and engine configuration lists.  + Update Fleet Configuration Status Reports.
* Assess the impact of ECRs/ECPs, Service Bulletins (SB), and Alert Service Bulletins (ASB) on the fielded Lakota fleet.
* Develop and track support plans for SBs/ASBs in coordination with Technical Support and Program Liaison.
* Ensure SB/ASB compliance is reflected in the Maintenance Tracking System.
* Maintain historical records of obsolescence mitigation and support plan execution.
* Coordinate with logistics and supply teams to ensure accurate shipment of kits and materials to field locations.
* Support Government evaluation on a case-by-case basis when obsolescence resolution affects FHR-supported parts.
* Ensure accurate configuration status accounting.
* Ensure configuration and obsolescence data is accurate, valid, and readily available.
* Ensure all relevant company procedures are in place and compliant with applicable requirements.
* Ensure timely implementation of approved changes to aircraft configuration baselines and MRP databases.
* Support cross-functional communication of configuration and obsolescence information across integrated data environments.
* Possess a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (four years) related to Aerospace Maintenance or Engineering.
* Ten (10) years' experience in aviation maintenance, engineering, or configuration control.
* Working knowledge of configuration management, lifecycle sustainment, supply chain, engineering support, or obsolescence-related processes.
* Proficiency in FAA (Part 21, Part 25, Part 145) or EASA regulations
* PLM/PDM Systems:

Experience with Product Lifecycle Management tools like Teamcenter, Enovia, or Solidworks PDM to manage Bill of Materials (BOM).
* Data Standards:
Familiarity with industry standards such as EIA-649 (Configuration Management) and ARP
4754A (Guidelines for Development of Civil Aircraft).
* Change Control:
Ability to lead Configuration Control Boards (CCB) and manage Engineering Change Proposals (ECP).
* Compliance:
Expertise in tracking Service Bulletins (SB) and Airworthiness Directives (AD) across a fleet to ensure every tail number is compliant.
