Location: Grand Prairie, TX (Onsite)

Position Summary

The Process Engineer is a hands‑on role responsible for planning, improving, and supporting manufacturing processes to ensure high‑quality production. This position leads new program launches, drives continuous improvement initiatives, optimizes equipment performance, and supports manufacturing teams through technical guidance and problem‑solving.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead process improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma tools (DMAIC, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping).
  • Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing and logistics processes.
  • Monitor KPIs and analyze data to improve quality, yield, throughput, and equipment efficiency.
  • Support new program launches and manage multiple start‑up projects.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to technicians and operators.
  • Implement statistical methods and technical solutions to meet cost, quality, and delivery goals.
  • Maintain clear process documentation and present findings to management.
  • Support safety, environmental, and ergonomics initiatives.
Qualifications
  • B.S. In Plastics, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering (required).
  • 3–5 years of experience in plastic molding, aluminum tube bending, and robotics operation.
  • Strong background in molding processes, tooling, materials, and quality systems.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification preferred.
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Solid Works, and prototyping.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Self‑motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects independently.
  • Familiar with process engineering software and health & safety regulations.
Work Environment
  • Monday–Friday schedule (hours discussed with manager).
  • Non-temperature-controlled facility; exposure to heat in summer.
  • Manufacturing environment with machinery and dust exposure.
