Position: Head of Admissions, 2 Hour Learning - $200,000/year USD

NOTE:

This is an on-site position based at our campuses in Dallas‑Fort Worth, Santa Barbara, and San Francisco. We provide relocation assistance.

Most admissions professionals are brought on to maintain the status quo. You'll be brought on to dismantle it and build something superior.

2 Hour Learning condenses an entire school day into two hours through AI‑driven, mastery‑based applications. No teachers. No lectures. No inefficiency. Our students learn at 2.6 times the national average, validated by MAP assessment data. Afternoons are dedicated to life skills, personal development, and substantive projects. Your role is pivotal here. You'll oversee end‑to‑end admissions for one campus—Dallas, Santa Barbara, or San Francisco—with complete ownership of your enrollment pipeline. No bureaucracy. No handoffs. No excess. You'll convert interest into commitment through rapid engagement, transparent outcomes, compelling tours, and discerning admissions judgment. You'll be the decisive factor when families choose a school that operates unlike any they've encountered.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Replying to incoming inquiries within 4 hours using tailored, precise messaging that avoids generic templates.
  • Conducting campus tours and events that demonstrate exactly how and why our instruction is faster, and which families benefit most.
  • Managing the complete admissions cycle, from application through shadow visits, decision conversations, and new family onboarding.
  • Maintaining accurate, up‑to‑date CRM and student information system records for weekly performance review, particularly within Hub Spot.
  • Improving admissions materials, standard procedures, and frequently asked questions informed by live parent feedback and conversion metrics.
What You Won’t Be Doing
  • Supervising staff. This role is intentionally structured for independent operation.
  • Dealing with bureaucratic delays. We operate at startup velocity, not traditional institutional pace.
  • Enrolling every applicant. This model isn't suited to all families, and selectivity is part of your responsibility.
  • Justifying our unconventional approach. Our results carry more weight than convention.
  • Operating remotely. This is an in‑person, campus‑based position with occasional off‑site local engagements.

Key Responsibilities

Take full ownership of the admissions process to convert qualified prospects into enrolled families. Build a high‑conversion, highly selective pipeline that mirrors the precision and effectiveness of the 2 Hour Learning model.

Basic Requirements
  • 3+ years managing end‑to‑end admissions at a selective, tuition‑charging academic institution.
  • Demonstrated track record in guiding competitive enrollment processes from initial inquiry through enrollment decision.
  • Outstanding communication abilities across writing, presentation, and individual engagement.
  • Ease and competence working with affluent families and sophisticated decision‑makers.
  • Solid operational discipline, including CRM expertise (Hub Spot in particular), time management, and precision in execution.
  • Currently located in or prepared to relocate to Santa Barbara, San Francisco, or Dallas.
  • Eligible to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship.
Nice‑to‑have Requirements
  • Background in top‑tier K–12 independent schools or selective college admissions.
  • Track record organizing high‑engagement, high‑conversion recruitment events.
  • Proficiency with analytics, performance metrics, and evidence‑based decision‑making.
  • Knowledge of AI‑enhanced or mastery‑based educational frameworks.
