Job Overview
Airbus Helicopters is looking for a Costing & Pricing Sr. Manager to join our team based in Grand Prairie, TX or Columbus, MS.
Responsibilities- Gather, analyze and prepare cost proposals, including budgets and required documentation.
- Evaluate U.S. Government cost/price proposal requirements.
- Develop and support proposal pricing and business cases to meet or exceed company gross margin and EBIT targets.
- Ensure timely, accurate, and supportable costing information in response to requests.
- Coordinate requirements for costing data with cross‑functional teams (sales, engineering, purchasing, operations, quality) to meet customer deadlines.
- Maintain and improve processes for compiling and communicating cost estimates.
- Lead projects to develop and enhance costing tools and pricing models.
- Analyze market trends and conduct competitive pricing analysis.
- Create business cases providing cost, margin, and price analysis for management decisions.
- Manage, develop, mentor, and coach staff.
- Prepare and support proposal content, including basis of estimates (BOE).
- Attend internal reviews and ensure completeness and accuracy of costing and pricing components.
- Support contract negotiations and award activities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- At least ten years of experience in project management, costing, pricing, and data analytics.
- Understanding of FAR 12 commercial item contract requirements (FAR 15 preferred).
- Strong analytical, technical, customer‑service, product‑knowledge, supply‑chain, and quality focus.
- Advanced Excel skills and ability to model costing concepts.
- Domestic and international travel availability (5%).
- U.S. Person under ITAR definition.
- Preference: MBA or MS in Accounting/Finance.
