Staff Accountant

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Grand Prairie, Texas. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and the ability to manage financial processes with accuracy and efficiency. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling various accounting tasks and ensuring compliance with corporate and sales tax regulations.

Responsibilities:

- Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.

- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently.

- Prepare and issue invoices in a timely manner.

- Record and post journal entries to maintain accurate financial records.

- Conduct bank reconciliations to verify account balances.

- Process debit and credit transactions while maintaining proper documentation.

- Oversee inventory management and related accounting procedures.

- Set up jobs correctly within the accounting system to ensure proper tracking and reporting. Requirements - Proficiency in corporate tax and sales tax processes.

- Experience preparing corporate tax returns.

- Solid understanding of journal entries and their impact on financial records.

- Familiarity with general ledger operations and maintenance.

- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
