You will provide problem-solving and relationship-building support, with access to digital tools, customer integration services, and a wide range of products to exceed customer expectations. This role involves driving responsibilities and supporting multiple branch functions.

• Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers promptly and courteously with purchases and processing of orders or returns.
• Assist in driving electrical distribution sales for the counter business and develop new and existing customer relationships.
• Assist with daily restocking, showroom maintenance, and keeping showroom and counter clean and organized.
• Assist with warehouse functions as needed, including receiving, shipping, stocking, and deliveries.
• Stay informed and educated on product knowledge; assist inside sales as needed.
• Inform manager of any potentially hazardous or elevated safety or customer-satisfaction concerns.
• Serve as a non-CDL backup driver for deliveries when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

The position’s schedule is Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM with weekends off.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of customer service, sales, or electrical distribution experience preferred.
• Previous branch experience preferred. In lieu of experience, must attend company driver training.
• Valid Driver’s License; must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must pass pre-employment and annual review of Motor Vehicle Record; must obtain verification of non-expired medical certificate within 60 days of hire.
• Must not have had a suspended driver’s license for a traffic accident/violation within the past 3 years; no at-fault accidents in the past 3 years.
• Electrical product knowledge and experience preferred; familiarity with automated order entry systems and Windows-based PCs preferred.
• Strong negotiation, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; good team player and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines; ability to type on a computer keyboard; positive attitude; desire to improve electrical product knowledge.

• Electrical product knowledge and experience preferred (lighting, switch gear, controls, electrical commodities).
• Experience in electrical distribution or similar sales environments preferred.
• Familiarity with automated order entry systems and Windows-based software preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
