Retail & Store Manager
Full-time - 40 hours/week
Become a part of a dynamic retail experience at Heirlooms for Hospice and Hope West in Grand Junction as the next Assistant Manager. The store is open Monday through Saturday. This role will work five days a week, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., on a rotating schedule.

Job SummaryThe Heirlooms Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager in achieving financial contribution goals through effective retail operations, merchandising, customer service, and donation flow management. This role provides daily leadership to staff and volunteers, ensures operational efficiency from donation intake through sales, and maintains a safe, organized, and welcoming environment for customers, donors, and team members.
Minimum Qualifications- High school diploma or GED required.
- 1 year of management or supervisory experience required.
- 1 year of retail and/or merchandising experience required.
- Valid Colorado driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of required automobile insurance maintained throughout employment.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications and point-of-sale (POS) or cash register systems.
- Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to communicate confidently with groups, including public speaking as needed.
- Ability to multitask effectively while remaining engaged with staff, volunteers, and customers.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, contributing positively to workplace culture.
- Demonstrated excellence in customer service.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use the hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear; taste or smell. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
- Hourly pay: $24.85–$27.50
