Guest Advocate (Cashier or Front of Store Attendant/Cart Attendant) (T0093) rting Hourly Rate / Salario por Hora Inicial: $17.50 USD per hour.
What You Will Do- Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard.
- Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete daily tasks.
- Engage with guests to help solve their specific needs and resolve concerns.
- Make guests aware of current promos, store activities, and events.
- Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store to solve issues and improve the guest experience.
- Thank guests and communicate appreciation for their visit to Target.
- Know and speak to the benefits of Target Loyalty programs and assist with enrollment as needed.
- Scan and bag items efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with safety standards and company best practices.
- Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining service quality and accuracy.
- Explain and demonstrate how to use features and offerings within the Target App, including Wallet.
- Be familiar with Order Pick-Up, Drive Up, and online ordering, and guide guests to enroll, activate, and use these features.
- Handle returns by following register prompts and collaborating with leaders as needed, while adhering to Target policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area and manage stock while remaining available to guests.
- Support guest services such as order pick up, Drive-up orders, and returns, and comply with applicable laws (e.g., adult beverage laws where relevant).
- Perform other duties based on business needs.
- You enjoy interacting and helping others, including guests and fellow team members.
- You thrive in a fast-moving, highly active environment requiring teamwork, flexibility, and problem solving.
- You are open to a flexible schedule (including nights, weekends, holidays and peak times).
- Effective communication and a welcoming attitude toward guests and teammates.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask while prioritizing tasks.
- Willingness to educate guests about products and services.
- Ability to operate handheld scanners and other technology; work independently and as part of a team.
- Remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment.
- Accurately handle checkout operations and cash office support as needed.
- Scan, handle, and move merchandise safely, including lifting up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 44 pounds occasionally without assistance.
- Flexible work schedule (nights, weekends, holidays); reliable attendance required.
- Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a shift.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures and environments (e.g., Drive-Up, carryout).
