Overview

Guest Advocate (Cashier or Front of Store Attendant/Cart Attendant) (T0093) rting Hourly Rate / Salario por Hora Inicial: $17.50 USD per hour.

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete daily tasks.
• Engage with guests to help solve their specific needs and resolve concerns.
• Make guests aware of current promos, store activities, and events.
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store to solve issues and improve the guest experience.
• Thank guests and communicate appreciation for their visit to Target.
• Know and speak to the benefits of Target Loyalty programs and assist with enrollment as needed.
• Scan and bag items efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with safety standards and company best practices.
• Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining service quality and accuracy.
• Explain and demonstrate how to use features and offerings within the Target App, including Wallet.
• Be familiar with Order Pick-Up, Drive Up, and online ordering, and guide guests to enroll, activate, and use these features.
• Handle returns by following register prompts and collaborating with leaders as needed, while adhering to Target policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area and manage stock while remaining available to guests.
• Support guest services such as order pick up, Drive-up orders, and returns, and comply with applicable laws (e.g., adult beverage laws where relevant).
• Perform other duties based on business needs.

• Accurately handle checkout operations and cash office support as needed.
• Scan, handle, and move merchandise safely, including lifting up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 44 pounds occasionally without assistance.
• Flexible work schedule (nights, weekends, holidays); reliable attendance required.
• Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a shift.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and environments (e.g., Drive-Up, carryout).
