Job Title:

Heavy Equipment Welder

Pay Rate: $27.60 - $29.62 per hour (dependent on education & experience)

• Prepare inspection reports
• Inspect structural condition of equipment
• Remove and install components and parts to make necessary repairs (with some assistance)
• Recondition or fabricate components or parts to manufacturer’s specifications (with some assistance)
• Determine reusability of parts in accordance with published guidelines (with some assistance)
• Order replacement parts
• Other duties as assigned by manager

• High School Diploma or GED
• 3 years of welding experience, preferably in the heavy equipment industry

• Standing, walking, talking, sitting, use of hands & hearing
• Ascending or descending ladders,@test
• Heavy work that includes lifting and/or moving objects up to 85 pounds or more
• Data entry, telephone, reading/writing, reasoning, organizational, communication & math skills
• Safety & Product Knowledge
• Ability to search for and enter data into a computer
• Ability to type service reports

• Noise:

• Indoors and Outdoors
