Facilities Maintenance Technician
Hiring Range: $27.37 - $30.80 Hourly

About the PositionThe Facilities Maintenance Technician will perform a variety of building maintenance activities; troubleshoot and repair equipment and systems; replace fixtures, filters, and parts; paint; perform some minor carpentry activities; replace lights, switches and fuses. Candidates should be highly self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

WhatYou'll Do
- Perform installation, repair, and maintenance of assigned systems, equipment, grounds, buildings, and facilities.
- Perform routine and non‑licensed electrical work.
- Perform plumbing work.
- Perform building renovations and repairs including removal or installation of flooring and ceiling tiles, sheet rock and drywall, fixtures and appliances and painting of interior and exterior surfaces.
- Perform maintenance or arrange for service of recycling equipment including conveyors, blowers, baler, tools, and other equipment.
- Perform other duties of a similar nature or level.

This position is a safety position, which means you will be subject to random drug screens due to the nature of the work performed.
What We're Looking For- Two (2) years of facilities maintenance experience.
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid Colorado driver’s license.
- Some assignments in this classification may require the possession of, or the ability to obtain, a universal refrigeration license.
Other combinations of experience and education that meet the minimum requirements may be substituted.
