Position Highlights

- Completes admitting functions for outpatients and ER patients.
- Collects and verifies accurate insurance information.
- Collects financial paperwork (i.e. Patient responsibility statement, etc).
- Completes HDC questionnaire for patients requesting screenings and all uninsured patients during the long registration process and uploads into chart.
- Contacts physician offices, for Emergency Department physicians, regarding consults and admissions.
- Notifies ancillary departments and tracks information for Trauma alerts and activations.
- Overhead pages all Codes throughout the hospital.
- Answers phone appropriately and transfers as needed.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required
- Customer Service Skills required
- Medical Terminology required
- $19.00 - $21.85 per hour, depending on education and experience.
