About the Role

The Pharmacy Management Team is seeking a compassionate, patient-centric Pharmacist to manage and grow a pharmacy operation in partnership with a community health center.

As the Pharmacy Manager / Pharmacist in Charge
, you will oversee day-to-day pharmacy operations while acting as a clinical resource to providers, clinic staff, and patients. This role combines leadership, compliance, and hands-on patient care in a collaborative clinical setting.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Educate and support patients on medication therapy
  • Collaborate with clinic providers and clinical staff
  • Participate in clinical meetings and care coordination
  • Lead, mentor, and develop pharmacists and pharmacy technicians
  • Promote a culture centered on patient care, professionalism, and accountability
Operational Oversight Includes
  • Patient safety & professional pharmacy practice
  • Regulatory and legal compliance (Federal, State, Local)
  • Quality assurance & customer service excellence
  • Inventory, workflow, and personnel management
  • HIPAA and Fraud, Waste & Abuse compliance
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science or Pharm

    D in Pharmacy from an accredited institution
  • Active pharmacist license in the state of practice
  • Credentialing as required by federal and state regulations
Preferred Experience & Skills
  • 3+ years of pharmacy experience
  • 340B experience is a plus (not required)
  • Immunization certification and vaccination administration preferred
  • Excellent communication and patient service skills
  • Experience supporting pharmacy growth initiatives
