About This Role

As an Advanced Practice Provider in Cardiothoracic Surgery, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing compassionate care and excellent patient experience. In this role you will work alongside a well-established group of Cardiothoracic surgeons and APPs managing patients in the clinic, and the hospital.

• This position includes a $10,000sign-on bonus,up to $7,500 in relocation assistance if applicable
• You will practice at Intermountain Health St. Mary’s Regional Hospital and Cardiothoracic Clinic in Grand Junction, Colorado
• Your schedule:
  Monday – Friday, 8 am – 5 pm
• You’ll be on call one out of three weeks

Your Day

• Manage post operative patients in the inpatient setting
• Manage post hospital follow ups in the clinic setting
• Serve as first assist to our cardio thoracic surgeons in the OR, including vein harvesting

What You’ll Bring

• PA or NP degree from a fully accredited program
• At least 1-2 years of experience as a PA or NP required – NO NEW GRADS
• Experience in CT with proven independence in EVH Preferred
• Active, unobstructed Colorado license, or the ability to obtain one
• BLS certification and DEA
• Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process
