About this roleAs a Neonatologist with Intermountain Health, you will join a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and an excellent patient experience.
- Team includes 3 Neonatologists and 5 Neonatal Nurse Practitioners, with a multidisciplinary staff of RNs, Respiratory Therapists, PT/OT/Speech Therapists, Social Workers, and more. We are committed to continuous improvement and following best practice guidelines in neonatal care.
- You will practice y's Hospital in Grand Junction, Colorado. St. Mary's is home to a 24‑bed Level III NICU and accepts transfers from across western Colorado and eastern Utah.
- Shifts are taken in 24‑hour increments.
- When on shift you will typically be in‑house during the day for interdisciplinary rounds, admits, discharges, etc., then may consult or come in after‑hours as needed. Neonatal Nurse Practitioners are on site 24/7.
- Annual salary: $, based on 121 shifts per year.
- Signing bonus: $30,000.00
; relocation assistance: up to $20,000.00
; student loan assistance: up to $75,000.00

What you’ll bring- MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
- Board certified or boards eligible Neonatologist
- Active, unobstructed Montana medical license, or ability to obtain one
- U.S. ACGME Residency
- Fellowship training in Neonatal‑Perinatal Medicine
- Successful completion of Intermountain Health’s credentialing process
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certification
