OverviewRG Cowan Design Build is seeking a highly organized, proactive Business Operations Coordinator to help run the internal engine of our design‑build company. This role is central to how our business operates day to day. It will include supporting projects, clients, and leadership through strong systems, follow‑through, and execution.
This is not an entry‑level administrative role. We’re looking for someone who enjoys managing structured workflows, keeping details aligned, and bringing order to complexity in a high‑pace environment. What You’ll Do- Own execution of key operational workflows that keep the business running smoothly.
- Keep company workflows organized, accurate, and up‑to‑date across projects and systems.
- Coordinate selections, client sign‑offs, ordering, and tracking so nothing falls through the cracks.
- Maintain clean documentation and filing standards that keep information easy to find and use.
- Support lead responsiveness and coordinate next steps so clients experience clarity and professionalism.
- Track warranty and service requests from intake through completion.
- Support hiring and onboarding processes with consistent administrative follow‑through.
- Execute marketing operations support such as mailing lists, brand awareness mailers, and analytics collection.
- Provide dependable administrative support that frees leadership to focus on strategy, improvement, and growth.
- Enjoys running organized systems and managing multiple workflows at once.
- Takes pride in accuracy, follow‑through, and consistency.
- Is comfortable working independently while staying aligned with a team.
- Communicates clearly and professionally when things change or issues arise.
- Likes being the person others rely on to keep things running right.
- Experience in an administrative, operations, project coordination, or office management role.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Comfort using technology and learning new systems quickly (CRM, document management, spreadsheets, email).
- A steady, dependable work ethic and sense of ownership.
- Interest in construction, design, or project‑based work (helpful, not required).
- Ability to manage competing priorities without losing track of details.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs on occasion.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Based in or willing to relocate to the Grand Junction, CO area.
- $20-$24/hour, depending on experience.
- Full‑time, consistent Monday‑Friday schedule (no weekends!).
- 80 hours PTO per year (including sick leave; begins accruing immediately).
- $300/month health stipend.
- Appleton Clinics membership (50% employer‑paid).
