Weekly Activity:

• Average 1,750 miles per week
• 2 loads per week
• 1 trailer per week
• Mix of drop & hook and live unload

Schedule:

• Out 5 days (Monday-Friday typical)
• Home weekly for reset
• Predictable routine

Freight Type:

• Touch freight (hand unload account)
• Drop & hook available
• Live unload required
• Dollar Tree deliveries

Home Time Requirement:

• Must be able to take truck home
• Secure parking required at your residence
• This is mandatory for this position

Experience & Licensing:

• Valid Class A CDL
• Current DOT medical card
• 21+ years old
• Minimum 3 months verifiable tractor-trailer OTR experience
  • (Or 6 months if teaming with experienced driver)

Employment History:

• Less than 3 jobs in the past year
• Must be in good standing with previous employer (not terminated)
• Stable work history required

Driving Record:

• No more than 2 accidents or tickets in last 3 years
• Accidents and violations will be reviewed individually
• Clean record preferred
• No SAP drivers

Location Requirement:

• Must live within 30 miles of the hiring area

Typical Week:

• Monday:
  Depart (take truck from home)
• Monday-Friday:
  Run 1,750 miles, complete 2 loads
• Friday/Weekend:
  Return home with truck
• Weekly earnings: $1,700-$2,100

Daily Work:

• Professional deliveries to Dollar Tree locations
• Mix of drop & hook and live unload
• Hand unload freight (touch freight account)
• Customer interaction at delivery points
• Pre Pass bypass at weigh stations (faster travel)

Equipment:

• Take truck home between runs
• Well-maintained fleet
• Modern equipment
