Position Summary:
Do you like to work on your feet and keep things neat and organized? Our merchandising & stocking associates connect all of the dots to make sure members can find everything they have on their shopping list. Depending on the shift you work, your job could include moving inventory in the backroom, unloading trucks, fulfilling club pick-up orders or helping members while stocking shelves.
It can be physically demanding and fast-paced. Be part of a great team with a shared goal – helping members find more of what they love, for less.
- Promptly unloading trucks
- Assisting fellow associates as needed throughout the store
- Sorting and stocking products on shelves and in the backroom
- Engaging with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude
- Maintaining a clean, neat, and member-ready area
- Fill club pick up orders throughout the day and stage according to policy
- Provide member service by acknowledging members and identifying needs; assist with self-service technology and purchasing decisions; locate merchandise; resolve issues; promote products and services
- Maintain facility safety by conducting safety checks, following forklift procedures, handling hazardous materials safely, and reporting unsafe situations
- Maintain sales floor and merchandise presentation by zoning, stocking, organizing, displaying, and pricing merchandise; identify shrink and damages; secure fragile items
- Monitor product quality, rotation, dating, recalls, and sanitation; ensure prominent display of promotional and seasonal merchandise
- Comply with company policies and ethics; apply Open Door Policy in business processes
- Complete work assignments by coordinating with managers and teammates; manage priorities, deadlines, and progress; adapt to change
