Overview
Member Assist Cart Attendant at Sam's Club. This role involves keeping the parking lot clean and orderly, assisting members with purchases, ensuring carts are available, and helping load items into vehicles to create a positive member experience. You will be on your feet and moving throughout the shift, in all weather conditions.
Base pay range$16.00/hr - $23.00/hr
Responsibilities- Maintain a well-kept parking lot and cart availability; assist members with purchases and loading items into vehicles as needed.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting members, answering questions, and promoting store products and services.
- Maintain a clean, neat, and member-ready work area; ensure safety and order in designated areas.
- Assist with transporting items and ensuring the availability of carts/flatbeds; utilize cart retrieval equipment according to company policies.
- Follow company policies and procedures, including safety, ethics, and integrity standards; support the Open Door Policy and related business processes.
- Collaborate with managers, coworkers, customers, and other partners to prioritize tasks and address improvement opportunities.
- Support continuous improvement in service delivery and adherence to company policies.
The role includes: filling club pickup orders by contacting members if pickup times are delayed or items are unavailable, offering alternatives, and ensuring items are dispensed when members arrive; handling member issues and promoting products and services; maintaining safety and cleanliness; processing member purchases and assisting with payments as per policy; organizing and maintaining carts/areas and ensuring parking lot cleanliness.
Provides member service by acknowledging members and identifying needs; assisting with purchasing decisions; locating and organizing merchandise; and resolving member concerns.
