• Unit details: 15 LDRP beds for LDRP and 15 Postpartum beds
• Ratios per AWHONN guidance: 1:3 (1:1 for laboring patients)
• Common diagnoses/types: obstetrics, postpartum, antepartum, post-surgical GYN, pregnancy with HTN or diabetes
• Medication/titration: RNs titrate drips (e.g., Pitocin, Mag, Procardia) as directed
• Floating:
  Rare; generally not required unless critical staffing; would be limited to sit or task
• Charge nurse availability:
  Yes on each shift
• Equipment: RT equipment (vents, CPAP, BiPAP, High Flow, etc.); RNs troubleshoot as needed
• Tele/Monitor techs on unit and RN responsibility for strips:
  No additional RN duties beyond standard monitoring
• Orientation: 1 week classroom + 2–3 shifts on the floor
